AEGEAN is the one of the largest carriers of Greece, and operates out of its hubs at Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes, Kalamata, Chania, Larnaca, Kos, and Corfu. It was created in 1999 from its predecessor known as AEGEAN Aviation.

AEGEAN connects its passengers to 145 destinations in 40 countries. These 145 destinations comprise of 112 international and 33 domestic destinations. Passengers in Business Class may carry 2 pieces of cabin baggage. The weight of one bag must not be more than 8kgs and the other must not be above 5 kgs. Economy passengers may carry on 1 piece of up to 8 kgs.
Check-in baggage may be 1 piece of up to 23 kgs in Economy Flex cabin class, and 2 pieces of up to 32 kgs each in Business Class. Note that Economy GoLight passengers are not entitled to any free checked baggage allowance.

AEGEAN offers its passengers the Web check-in facility that lets them complete their check-in procedures before reaching the airport.Passengers can make use of the Web check-in service from 48 hours up to 30 minutes before the flight departure time. It is a time-saver as it lets you avoid the hassle of waiting in long queues at the airport in front of the check-in counters.
Apart from its time saving benefit, this service also lets you choose your preferred seat from the available ones. Additionally, it lets you send your AEGEAN’s boarding pass on to your personal devices in the form of a Mobile Boarding Pass or simply print it.
Passengers using the Web check-in facility may proceed straight to the gate if they do not have any luggage to check-in or drop-off at the dedicated ‘drop-off’ counters. Passengers can also use the check-in facility for connecting flights issued on the same ticket if their departure is within 24 hours.
If you are an AEGEAN frequent flyer, then you may enroll in Miles+Bonus, the carrier’s reward loyalty program for its patrons. You earn miles every time you fly with AEGEAN.
There are three tiers of membership—Gold, Silver, and Blue. Silver and Gold tier members can enjoy the feature of Together account. Such members, on activating a Together account, could add up to 5 members irrespective of their tier status. All the miles earned are accumulated in this shared account.
You may earn award miles by flying with AEGEAN and its airline partners. You are also entitled to earn award miles when you use your credit card to pay for any services and facilities from AEGEAN’s non-airline partners.
