What is Cleartrip Wallet?
Cleartrip Wallet is a secure, convenient way to store and use your travel credits on Cleartrip. You can use your wallet balance to pay for flights, hotels, and other bookings. Wallet balance can come from cashback, refunds, promotions, or other credits added to your account.
How do I add money to my Cleartrip Wallet?
Wallet balance is typically added through cashback on bookings, refunds for cancelled trips, promotional credits, or special offers. You can check your wallet balance and transaction history on the Wallet page in your account.
Where can I use my Wallet balance?
You can use your Cleartrip Wallet balance to pay for flights, hotels, activities, and other travel bookings on Cleartrip. At the payment step, select Cleartrip Wallet as a payment option to use your available balance. You can also combine wallet balance with other payment methods if needed.
Does my Wallet balance expire?
Wallet balance may have an expiry date depending on how it was added (e.g. promotional credits). You can see the expiry details for your balance and individual transactions on the Wallet page. Use your balance before the expiry date to avoid losing it.
How do I check my Wallet balance and transaction history?
Sign in to your Cleartrip account and go to the Wallet section (from your profile or account menu). There you can see your current balance, domain-wise balance if applicable, and a list of recent transactions including credits, debits, and expiry information.
Can I get a refund to my Wallet?
Yes. For eligible cancellations or refunds, you may have the option to receive the amount as Cleartrip Wallet balance. This is often faster than a refund to your original payment method. Refund policy and wallet credit eligibility depend on the type of booking and fare rules.
Is my Wallet balance transferable to another account?
No. Cleartrip Wallet balance is non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder for bookings on their own account. It cannot be transferred to another user or converted to cash.
Why don’t I see the Wallet option at payment?
The Wallet option appears only when you have sufficient balance and when the booking type supports wallet payment. Some offers or payment flows may not allow wallet use. Ensure you’re signed in and that your balance meets the minimum required for the booking.
